To summarize the project and explain how we arrived at the solution, I can start by saying that the project's goal was not to arrive at a solution using design, but to create discussion or an understanding if you want around the topic.
We made a board game where the idea was to inform about the relationship between endangered and endangered species through entertainment. The board game is about you being a piece, made up of several pieces. The piece symbolizes is a red-listed (endangered) plant, and players must try to survive through threats along the way.
This can be invasive plants, human activity or developments. The goal of the game is to get through, without losing pieces along the way.
The core value of ours was to inspire the receiver through entertainment and create a learning by playing the game. We concluded that entertainment was the way to go when it came to illuminating the Norwegian people about red-listed and black-listed plants in the Oslo fjord area.
